Lisa Roman
Lisa Roman is a sports host, analyst and producer with experience in written, visual, audio and digital content. She is a CBS Sports Network host, analyst and producer of Attacking Third, a soccer podcast covering the NWSL and the United States Women’s National Team. Weekly, Lisa features as a host and analyst for CBS Sports soccer coverage on CBS Sports HQ. Additionally, she is a broadcast analyst for NWSL matches on Paramount +.
While at CBS Sports, Lisa has worked her way up through various departments and helped launch the Facebook Watch interview series focusing on college football. She hosted weekly interviews with 247Sports college football specialists around the country to grow fan engagement across digital and social media brand platforms.
Lisa also has an extensive amount of experience as an on-air talent for a number of sports. She has worked as an analyst, reporter and host with the MLS and Philadelphia Union; FOX Sports collegiate coverage; the professional indoor football National Arena League; NBCSports Philadelphia; ESPN and the Ivy League Network; and the BIG EAST Digital Network. She has covered football, volleyball, soccer, ice hockey, basketball, track & field, lacrosse and baseball. Lisa has worked as an in-game host and emcee for Division I men’s and women’s basketball and professional baseball, and had the honor of being the first female PA Announcer for Division I women’s basketball in Philadelphia at Drexel University. Lisa’s bilingual ability to speak Spanish eliminates any language barriers between fans and players.
As a Philadelphia native, Lisa went to Marquette University in Milwaukee to pursue her Journalism career while playing Division I soccer. Her four years at the highest level of collegiate soccer brought her two BIG EAST conference championships, two NCAA tournament appearances and a pair of undefeated seasons.
When she’s not in the booth, at the studio or roaming the sidelines with her notebook, Lisa can be found in the mix on the athletic field. Competing in competitive soccer, snowboarding, running and playing pickup softball and basketball are her biggest hobbies - anything that keeps her moving!

Whether Lisa is pacing the sidelines for an intriguing story or analyzing the game from the broadcast booth, you can always find her working hard, smiling and having fun!
